Day 1 – Arrival to Lisbon airport. Pick up the car. Proceed to the hotel in Lisbon. Afternoon and evening dedicated to discover Lisbon.

Day 2 – Breakfast. Proceed to Évora in the morning, where you can visit the ruins of the Roman Temple, the Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones. In the afternoon you will continue your journey by visiting Vila Viçosa and then Estremoz, a beautiful town dominated by its medieval castle and 17th century walls. At the end of the day, arrival to Portalegre. Overnight.

Day 3 – Breakfast. Spend some time in the morning by visiting Portalegre. From here you carry on your visit to Marvão and its medieval castle and then Castelo of Vide and its remarkable streets with 14th, 15th and 16th century houses. Free time for lunch. Your trip will continue to Castelo Branco, capital of Beira Baixa province (short stop and visit to the Royal Gardens). Proceed to Covilhã, located in the lower slopes of Estrela mountain range. Overnight.

Day 4 – Breakfast. Departure to the highest point of Serra da Estrela mountain range – Torre – 2.000 metres high. Spectacular abrupt cliffs from where water springs out forming beautiful cascades. Your journey will proceed to Manteigas, a picturesque village, passing side by side to the oldest glacial valley in Europe. Lunch in Viseu, one of the most important towns of Beira Alta province. You can continue to Lamego and visit the monumental baroque Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora of Remédios, a marvellous granite staircase decorated with tiles, allegorical fountains, small chapels, and statues leads to a baroque church with views over the town and afterwards to Peso da Régua. At the end of the day arrival to Oporto. Overnight.

Day 5 – Breakfast. Start your day by visiting the old Cathedral, the 19th century Stock-Exchange Palace, the Church of Saint Francis and many other places. Don’t leave this city without visiting one of the Oporto wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and also without taking the optional cruise on the Douro river, where you can relax over the unique scenery surrounded by beautiful landscapes and vineyards. Overnight.

Day 6 – Breakfast. Departure to Aveiro, famous for its lagoon, this town is criss-crossed by canals where colourfully painted Moliceiro boats sail. Coimbra, the most important city in the centre of Portugal from the cultural point of view. Visit to the old Cathedral and the University with its remarkable royal library. Lunch free. Proceeding to Fátima you will visit one of the largest pilgrimages centres in Portugal. Overnight.

Day 7 – Breakfast. Departure to Batalha (visit the 15th century monastery, classified by UNESCO as World Patrimony) and Alcobaça (visit to its imposing cistercian monastery from the 12th century). The typical fish village Nazaré will be the next stop. Óbidos – you can walk around this lovely whitewashed and beautiful village surrounded by medieval walls. Your trip will continue to Sintra, where you can visit the Royal palace and free time. At the end of the day arrival to Lisbon (via Estoril and Cascais, one of the most beautiful stretches of Lisbon coast). Overnight.

Day 8 – Morning free to visit Lisbon. After lunch departure to the airport where you can deliver the car and take your plane back home.
