Day 1 – Arrival at Lisbon airport and pick up the car. In the afternoon, we would suggest you to visit Sintra town, built right up against the north slope of the Sintra mountain range. Here enjoy some time visiting the National Palace of Sintra and Pena Palace. Then proceed to Cape Roca, westernmost point of continental Europe, and then via Guincho beach, you will continue to the cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril, the famous resorts of the Portuguese Riviera, and then back to Lisbon. Overnight.

Day 2 – After breakfast visit of Lisbon, where we highlight a visit to S. Jorge Castle, Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Coach Museum. For lovers of art, we would suggest a visit to National Art Museum, Gulbenkian Museum or Tiles Museum. Driving to North of Lisbon you can visit Óbidos, a beautiful medieval little town, dated from the XII Century. The trip continues to Nazaré village, a fishing activity centre, and if time allows you can stop at Alcobaça town, where you can visit the monastery. Coimbra overnight.

Day 3 – Dedicated day to visit Coimbra, which should include the university and its library and the Cathedral. Further north, you will arrive to Porto. You cannot lose the San Francisco Church, Exchange Stock Palace, the Ribeira zone and obviously a tasting Port wine in one of the many cellars situated in Vila de Gaia, opposing city to Porto. Porto overnight.

Day 4 – In the morning, we would suggest a journey to Braga (archbishop’s city) and Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, where the Castle and Ducal Palace are visits not to lose. Than continue to Aveiro – city of canals. Overnight.

Day 5 – Return to Lisbon for departure (afternoon flight), but not without stopping in Fátima and Batalha Monastery (a visit to this beautiful monastery, send it built to celebrate an important battle on the troops of Castela).
