Day 1 – Arrival at Porto airport. Group met and assisted by our guide. Transfer to the hotel by private air condition coach. On arrival a welcome Port wine will be served. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, dinner will take place at one of the wine cellars located in Vila Nova de Gaia. After an escorted visit to the wine cellar, a port wine tasting and some dry snacks will be served, before dinner. Entertainment is also available if requested and we would suggest the famous ‘Tunas’- the traditional group of university students dressed up with long black caps, singing and playing several traditional instruments in a very funny way… Return transfer to the Hotel

Day 2 – After breakfast, you will start your day by visiting the most important sights of the city: ‘Clerigos’ – a huge baroque tower dating back from the 18th century, the magnificent Sr. Francis Church – a masterpiece of gold carved wood and the Stock Exchange Palace with its magnificent Arab room. Lunch will take place on board, while cruising along the river and assign below the 4 bridges, enjoy a delicious typical lunch. After lunch, a walk around downtown is a must (or, as alternative, guide will provide a map for everyone with all detailed information, so that you can enjoy it to maximum: Sta. Catarina street for shopping…ask for a ‘cimbalino’ (expresso coffee) at the ‘Majestic Café’,…and you will feel ready and strong to discover the city centre – do not forget to have a look at the colourful and crowded ‘Bolhão Market’, and its flower section… The evening is taking place in a typical restaurant, where the best local food & wine will be a must – while dining and wining you will be listening the Fado and Folklore. Return transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 – Early in the morning departure to Guimarães, the cradle of Portugal (visit to medieval castle and the royal palace). The tour continues towards Vila Real and Régua – the most important areas where the famous Port wine ‘Quintas’ are located and where we will stop for a visit. After a brief visit, you will be invited for a delicious wine tasting with local snacks followed by lunch. Afterwards the tour will continue to Régua, where you will take the historical train to Pinhão. The return to Régua will be done by boat. At Régua you will have the bus waiting to take you back to Porto.
The farewell dinner should also be a memorable one. We believe on our creativity and ‘know how’ to turn the evening into a unique one, bearing in mind you’re ‘wining’ in the right place. Return transfer to the hotel.

Day 4 – After breakfast, transfer to Porto international airport.
